About carrd

These commissions are for people that are interested in having a carrd but aren't sure how to make one or don't have the time to!~WHAT ARE CARRDS USED FOR?Carrds, like the one you're visiting right now, are useful for a multitude of purposes, such as:
• Introducing yourself to your community
• Setting boundaries on who can interact with your platform/page
• Creating a sheet for your products (like commissions for fics/art/etc, or idol pcs)~HOW DOES CARRD WORK?You can find more details at carrd's official webpage, but basically it's a free platform to create personal or business one-page sites, which can be sectioned (as this one, with buttons to specific sections).Each carrd account can create up to 3 different sites, with very few limitations, dictated by the number of elements in a carrd. The maximum per webpage is 70 elements per carrd.They can be of two types: one-page or sectioned, both with the limitation of 70 elements in total. More elements and Carrd will charge for the website. Another option would be a second website using the same account, however, in these commissions, that will be charged separately as a new carrd.

What counts an element?Text boxes, images, image galleries, page-breaks/scroll points (for sectioned carrds), videos, audios, dividers, containers (used to make columns), buttons and icons. Each counts as an element.
*_{The text inside the text boxes IS NOT an element, so there's no word count limit.}What counts as a section?For the purpose of the commissions, only page breaks and scroll points count as a new section. One example of a page break is when you click on a site and it takes you to another page within the website. A scroll point, instead of loading another page, scrolls you to a section further down the site (like the 'Rules and Prices' button in this page).
_{Important: each page break and each scroll point consume 1 element and count as +1 section.}What is customisable in my carrd?You can customise every detail in your carrd. Add images or an image gallery, videos, audio, text and links. Choose colours for every feature, type of background, select from more than 50 font, different font sizes, letter spacing, line spacing… Everything is customisable if you so wish, without additional charge.(But have in mind that video and image quality have limitations imposed by carrd on free accounts.)

Each commission gives the right to 1 (one) carrd. More than 70 elements will count as second commission, since they entail creating another carrd. I will do my best to fit everything you need in 1 carrd, but if it turns out to be impossible, I will contact you so adjustments can be made.Don't let the numbers fool you! If you only need a basic carrd, that can be done with 10 elements!The carrd account must be created beforehand with an e-mail of your choice, and access to it granted to me temporarily so I can build the site.The carrd's appearance and content will be discussed through e-mail. All content added to the carrd (pictures, videos, texts, etc) will be provided by you. My job will be to organise the information provided.The time it will take to prepare the carrd will depend on the amount of customisation requested, on its size (how many sections and elements), and on the number of commissions that I have lined up. Sectioned sites take longer to make. If you have a tight deadline, that too shall be discussed.Carrds made by me will carry a link to my own carrd in the form of "Made by Lexine" in small letters at the very bottom of the site, and while you can edit your carrd as you wish, I kindly ask that you keep it <3Sections and tables (like the one where I show the prices here) in carrds will be charged as ad-ons!Example of a sectioned carrd commission

Payments must be made upfront via Paypal after all discussions regarding the building of the site have been concluded, so we both know how many elements/sections will be included.

Each individual commission gives right to 1 (one) fanfic. If you want to order two fanfics at once, that will be charged as a second commission. (Second commissions have a small discount! Read more details further below!)Commissions will be charged by word count. If you don't have a limit for your word count, we can negotiate the price after discussing your commission, and if I happen to go over the agreed word count, there won't be any additional fees.If I accept your commission, the content of the fic will be thoroughly discussed through e-mail or Twitter DMs before any payment is made so I can make sure I understand what you want for your fic. I might ask you a lot of questions, but please understand that it's for your own benefit.Once the content of the commission and a word count has been discussed, the payment must be made upfront via Ko-fi or Paypal so I can begin writing your fic.The fic will be delivered as a gift on Ao3, as well as a fully formatted PDF file that you can keep 💜 I will also make a post on Twitter with a link to the fic on Ao3.When ordering two fics at once, have in mind that the second one will begin to be written only after I'm done with the first commission, but both of them should be paid upfront when I start writing the first one. The discount will go to the fanfic with less words.More than two commissions per person are, as of now, not allowed.The commissioned work should not be redistributed, reposted or edited in any way.
